&of offers interactive and thought-provoking workshops on LGBTQIA+ issues. The workshops are run by and for young people. This ensures that the workshops are closely aligned with the lives and experiences of school-age young people. Our aim is to encourage the class to reflect on their own views and to explore these through our own experiences, with the occasional historical perspective.

How?

Thanks to our many years of experience, we have the expertise to put together a comprehensive and varied educational package. For example, we use digital media and various games, always drawing on the young people’s own experiences. We also talk enthusiastically about our own experiences as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

For who?

All schools in the Flemish Brabant region are welcome to visit us, regardless of the education network, the

type of education or the school year.

When?

You can choose the date and time yourself. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Cost?

Our workshops do not have a fixed cost; the school is only required to cover our volunteers’ travel expenses. A voluntary contribution to &of is greatly appreciated, but we want to ensure that there is no financial barrier for schools. Any voluntary contribution goes entirely towards the running of &of and is invested in recruiting and training new volunteers so that we can continue to offer these workshops!
